Horseshoe Lacy Scarf Pattern


Materials: I used Dusty Purple through Lion Brand CO optional, Size 5 knit needles (use what you want), Yarn needle to weave in ends.

Instructions
YO: Yarn Over
PSSO: Pass slip stitch over and off needle
K2 Tog: Knit 2 stitches together
Sl 1: Slip 1 stitch

CO 34 stitches
Row 1: K2 *yo, k3, sl1, k2 tog, PSSO, K3, yo, k1* last 2 stitches knit.
Row 2: Purl and all even rows (knit the first 2 and last 2 stitches of the purl row)
Row 3: K2 * k1, yo, k2, sl1, k2 tog, PSSO, k2, yo, k2* knit last 2 sts.
Row 5: K2 * K2, yo, k1, sl1, k2 tog, PSSO, k1, yo, k3* K last 2.
Row 7: K2 * k3, yo, sl1, k2 tog, PSSO, yo, k4* K last 2.
Row 8 do purl row

Repeat rows 1-8 until scarf measures the height you prefer and then loosly BO weave in ends

Truly striking--the pattern is so crsip. I would love to try out this pattern. . .Could you say about how many skeins it took to complete this scarf?

It took less then one skein to make the scarf :)
